The Toro-Titanium-Tube is a lightweight tube designed for enclosed printers. Instead of threads directly cut into the tube, DIN 6926 locking nuts with a flange are included. They are fastened using the either of the tools listed below:

Wrench (requires strong Material) – designed by billyd
Nut holder strip – designed by Julian M.

622mm is for the V-Core 3 500×500 printer and 522mm for the V-Core 400×400

Why Titanium?

It has almost the same thermal expansion coefficient as steel -> No more Bi-Metall effect of the X-Axis.

How much do they weigh?

522mm: 178g (vs 261g 2020 Extrusion)
622mm: 207g (vs 311g 2020 Extrusion)

–> over 30%lighter <– than 2020 Extrusion
–> over 50% lighter <– than Dual Rail mod

How rigid are they?

They have the same bending rigidity as the 2020 extrusion.

What’s the catch?

Due to the nature of Titanium it is very hard to process. As a result it is not as straight/flat as our Aluminium tubes. So you if you want a flat mesh (which is not really necessary), you have to use Kapton Tape. But since you have no time depended deformation anymore, Klippers Bed Mesh algorithm can be applied to compensate this. There were intensive Beta Tests with users from the community and they have not found this to be a big problem. However, the very stable first layer was noted as a big improvement over their previous tubes. Due to the tolerances might be necessary to increase the width/height of the rectangular cutout of the XY joiners slight. Although most of the testers simply pushed them in with a little force.
